Arkenbout designed this airy & open villa in the woods of the Achterhoek, near Epse, the Netherlands. The dark concrete table gives the house the purpose of a home, solid and safe. The glass & aluminium underneath the table ensures the inhabitants stay connected with the earth surrounding them. The white cube almost literally takes a bite out of it. This way it puts the given security into perspective.
The villa is being built right now and will be finished in 2013.
